Learn the basic elements of a PyTorch script and see how to train a simple model using the MNIST hand-written digits dataset. Workshop format: Presentation and hands-on Target audience: Researchers and students interested in using PyTorch for deep learning. Knowledge prerequisites: Some knowledge of Python and basic calculus. Hardware/software prerequisites: Please bring a laptop for the hands-on exercises. This workshop will use Google Colab. Learning objectives: Attendees will come away with the ability to understand a PyTorch script and be able to train models.
