Location:
120 Lewis Science Library
Audience:
Faculty, graduate students, researchers and technical staff
Speaker(s):
Sponsor(s):
Dell Technologies and NVIDIA Corporation

This workshop is open to all members of the PU community. Lunch will be provided as well as a happy hour after the workshop for RSVPs.

Description: Learn deep learning techniques for a range of computer vision tasks, including training and deploying neural networks. In this workshop, you will (1) implement common deep learning workflows such as Image classification and object detection, (2) experiment with data, training parameters, network structure, and other strategies to increase performance and capability, and (3) deploy your networks to start solving real-world problems.

Note that this is a beginner level workshop. And although the workshop emphasizes computational tasks in computer vision, the principles covered will be applicable to a broader range of deep learning tasks executed on GPUs.

Prerequisites: Familiarity with programming fundamentals such as functions and variables

Technologies: Caffe, DIGITS
