Princeton held its first research data management workshop Jan. 28-Feb. 1 for graduate students and other researchers.
This Hackathon was the first hands-on collaboration connecting the CDH, PUL, and PICSciE/RC, and it marked the first time many of the participants utilized a high-performance computing cluster allowing for much faster processing of large-scale data.
Princeton wants to shake up how graduate students learn the basic tools and principles of writing good code for computationally intensive scientific research, and Gabe Perez-Giz is emphatically on board.
